Skye is a bright, affectionate girl with a huge personality and an even bigger zest for life. At only a year old, she still has a lot to learn about managing her excitement, but underneath all that energy is a sweet, people-loving dog who forms strong bonds with those she trusts.Skye finds kennel life frustrating and overwhelming, and this can make her behaviour look bigger than she really is. When her world becomes too restricted, she can become bouncy, vocal, mouthy or grabby with people. This is not coming from a “bad” place, but it does mean she needs adopters who are confident around strong, high-energy dogs and who can calmly help her decompress, rather than trying to manage her through pressure or confrontation.Once Skye knows you, she is wonderfully tactile and loves being close to her people; she enjoys fuss, play, exploring, sniffing, running, and throwing herself into life with full enthusiasm.
