When meeting new people, Skye can be a little unsure at first. Because of this, she’ll need a few visits to the centre to help build positive relationships and trust before heading off to her new home. Once you’re in her circle, though, you’ll see her sweet, loyal nature shine through.Skye finds being left alone quite difficult at the moment, so she is looking for a home where someone is around for most of the day initially and can gradually build up her leaving hours at a pace she can cope with. With patience, reassurance, and a consistent routine, she has every potential to make great progress.She would like to be the only pet in the home and is best suited to a quieter environment with access to low dog-populated walking areas. Skye can become over-aroused around other dogs and finds it frustrating when she’s unable to say hello, so she’ll need understanding owners who are committed to working on her social skills and helping her learn calmer behaviours around canine friends.
