Hello, I’m Sonnet I’m a quiet, gentle soul who’s still learning about the world beyond the racing kennel. I’m a shy boy by nature and I can feel unsure in new situations, especially indoors, but with time, patience, and kindness I start to feel safe and let my softer side shine through.When I trust you, I really do enjoy affection. I might not rush over straight away, but if you give me space and encouragement, I’ll move closer and happily settle in for a cuddle. One of my favourite things is resting my head on your lap while you give me some gentle fuss. Busy, noisy environments can feel a bit much for me, so I’m hoping for a calm home where life moves at a steady, predictable pace.I’m very good for handling and will stay still for checks and grooming, although I don’t actively ask for more. I can be quite worried by unfamiliar objects like dog toys or phones, and I’ll do my best to avoid them if I’m unsure.
