Hello, my name’s Spud, lovely to meet you!NAWT rescued me from a pretty tough situation where I wasn’t being cared for properly. They decided to call me Spud because... well, just look at me. I’m the perfect little potato.Okay, fine, I’m actually quite a big potato. The vets say I need to lose a little weight to help me feel my best. I’m not totally sold on this “diet” idea (seems wildly unfair, if you ask me), but I am enjoying my foster home, gentle walks and rest. I’m a sociable boy, I love humans, I don't mind other dogs, I get on well with most of them, but I’m not a fan of small dogs, so I’d be happiest in a home without any tiny canine housemates. I can also have a bit of a prey drive, so I’ll need sensible introductions and supervision around other animals.I do have a medical condition affecting my cruciate ligament, which means my knee can be uncomfortable at times.
