Syd

Syd came in to our care from an ex racing background, therefore he will have spent a lot if not all of his life in a kennel environment. He would love nothing more than a home to call his own. He is a giddy boy who loves to be around people and enjoys his zoomies in our compound area!He very much enjoys his food, so much so, we do have to feed him using a slow feeder! Otherwise he will gobble it all up! He enjoys lots of treats and loves squeezy cheese! Syd is a really friendly, happy boy and really likes to spend time out of his kennel on walks with our volunteers.With Syd being an ex racer, he does have a high prey drive so cannot live with any small animals such as cats or rabbits! He can however live with another dog of a similar size, subject to a successful meet. He is paired with another greyhound in his kennel, and seems to enjoy their company!We feel that Syd would be best suited to a home where children are 12 years and older – subject to a successful meet and greet.If you th...
