He is a very sweet boy but can be a little nervous and unsure around new people. We are looking for a patient owner for Tanian where he can take his time gaining his confidence in new situations and be given all the support he will need during this time. Ongoing training and socialisation is a must for Tanian. He will need a private secure garden.Previous breed experience/knowledge would be an advantage.He can be a little cheeky in his kennel and likes to chew up and rip his toys! We think he likes the attention! He is a lovely boy and has been really friendly with staff since arriving to our home.Tanian has interacted ok with other dogs in our care, although he isn’t too bothered about them, so we feel he would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home. Akitas can be quite an independent breed so feel this would suit him better.He originally came in to our care as a stray but we do have some information on him that we can let potential adopters know if successful.
