Tig

Since arriving in foster care, Tig has made fantastic progress. Initially a little unsure around other dogs, he has become much more relaxed. He's currently in foster with another dog and could live with another dog in his new home dependant on a successful introduction at the Centre. An active little dog, Tig is a joy to walk and loves being out exploring and going on adventures with his favourite people. His favourite toys are balls and his treat filled Kong, and he enjoys enrichment that keeps his clever mind busy. Tig forms strong bonds with the people he trusts and loves affection on his own terms. While he enjoys cuddles and gentle fuss, he isn't a typical lap dog and often prefers to relax at the other end of the sofa or on a cool spot on the floor. He can be wary of strangers, particularly if they reach towards his face, so he'll need adopters who are happy to let him build trust at his own pace. Once he knows someone, he becomes a much more affectionate and confident companion...
