She would love living with a family who enjoy getting out for long walks, exploring new places, and giving her plenty of daily exercise. A home with access to a secure garden would be best, where Apollo can stretch her legs and continue her good house training routine. She could happily live with primary school aged children and would suit a home in a quieter town, residential area, or on the outskirts of a city, as she can handle short periods around busier roads but prefers a calmer base. She’s comfortable with car travel and is happy to have regular visitors to the house, once she’s had a moment to settle. Are you right for Bandit?Bandit is an eleven-year-old Pomeranian cross Shih Tzu LOOKING FOR A LOVING HOME TOGETHER WITH PEPPER. Bandit and Pepper could share their home with children aged eleven plus. They are looking to be the only dogs in the home and a home without small furries, cats, or livestock. They need to keep practicing their housetraining and are happy to travel in the car. They could cope with a reasonably busy home environment and are likely to by shy of new visitors. They will need a home with a garden. They are living off-site in a foster home and here’s what their foster carers says, “A pair of gems! Not only do they look adorable, but they also have hearts of gold. They are completely tuned in to their significant person/people. They attach quickly. They soon know your routine. Your down time is their snooze time.”Is Bandit right for you?Bandit and Pepper are a well bonded pair. Bandit is the more confident one of the pair. He wears his heart on his sleave and just wants you to love him and tell him that he is ‘a good boy!’ Bandit, followed by Pepper, is in his element when he is having a fuss and a snuggle on your lap. They love to be close to you. Bandit enjoys a fuss under his chin and behind his ears. Bandit has more dynamic energy and will enjoy a play with his human. Bandit and Pepper are not interested in toys; they love to play rough and tumble with each other. They both have excellent recall. Out and about they are gaining confidence, they are robust walking in all Devon weathers, and they prefer shorter walks rather than long hikes. They don’t want a lot from other dogs. They enjoy treats and they know a stay and wait. “They are a very easy pair of small dogs to have around. Hi, I’m Bao Bun I’m a 2-year-old Pomeranian searching for a calm, understanding home where I can continue learning that life doesn’t have to be so scary. I’ve lived quite a sheltered life up until now, so lots of everyday things are still very new to me. I'd prefer to be your one and only (no dogs please), and a home without young children would suit me best - older, sensible kids (10+) could be okay.Now, onto the good stuffI love my walks - I stroll like a pro on the lead ( vary handsome, if i do say so myself). Because of a past leg injury, I'm currently on shorter walks, but with time and care, I might be able to build up the walks a little. Slow and stready wins the race, right? I do like my personal space when I'm out and about - I'm not a fan of dogs getting too close to me on walks. If another dog barks at me I might have a little bark back. With the right handling and a bit of space I'm a good boy.Food? Oh yes... I am VERY motivated by snacks. Treats = instant best friends.I'm not house trained yet, but don't worry - my humans will give you all the tips you need to help me learn. Are you right for Bear?Are we sure our Bear is a Pomeranian X Border Terrier? Because he could easily be a little bear cub! This fluffy fella is 7-years-old and looking for a nice calm and quiet place he can call home. Bear loves spending his evenings curled up by the fireplace being cosy and comfy. During the day he likes to take walks and soak in the peaceful scenery, his favourite being a woodland walk . He is known to us as 'His Royal Hairy Highness' and we couldn't agree with this more as Bear is the King of his castle. As well as having his chill times he also loves to get up and play with toys, especially if they're squeaky! Bear could happily be left for a few hours in his new home and copes really well with this. 7 months old, bright as a button, but very much a work in progress Bear is with us at just seven months old, and we are home number four. That alone tells you how little structure he’s had so far. His previous home genuinely tried their best with him, but he is a handful — bright, busy, under‑taught, and bursting with energy.We were told he’s a Pom × Yorkie, but I’m not convinced. There’s definitely some other terrier in there somewhere — I’d suspect Cairn maybe — but nothing I’d confidently pin down. A little update about Bear This little dog has absolutely passed all our expectations. He’s turned into the sweetest, nicest little fella and he’s really starting to shine.With confident older children he would be absolutely fine. The nipping has stopped completely with us, so we’d expect the same in a home that keeps his boundaries consistent.His recall has gotten really good, although he does still have that terrier prey drive tucked in there, so you’ll need to keep that in mind on walks. He’s learning to respect cats, but we still think he might be a bit much for them in a home environment.He’s a cracking little dog who’s trying so hard to get everything right. He just needs his people now.⭐ What he’s likeHe knows sit, down and no, but his training level is extremely low. His house manners are improving quickly, but house‑training is still very hit and miss. Bear is getting better with crate training, but this will require continued training and patience. Bear sleeps through the night, and he currently sleeps in the living room/kitchen. He seems far happier with the company of other dogs than being alone. Bear needs grooming, but he finds this very hard — he gets overexcited and genuinely has no idea how to behave for it yet. He chews when bored and can jump like a spring. He has a very high prey drive — if it’s small and fast‑moving, he’s after it. He is learning that sheep are off‑limits, but he’s a pup and this is very much a work in progress. Size‑wise, he’s very similar to our chunky Border Terrier.‍ With other dogsHe’s learning. Off‑lead and in the home he is playful, friendly, and genuinely enjoys other dogs. We’ve had no issues at all with any dogs he’s met here.On the lead, however, he hasn’t yet got the skills to remain calm — he gets overstimulated very easily and needs someone who can help him learn how to cope and focus.‍️ On the leadHe is learning lead skills here, but his skills are very limited and he gets overstimulated and over‑excited very easily. Any adopter will need to be prepared to really put work into this. He is not ready for a pub lunch by a long shot. This is very much a “start from scratch” area.‍️Ideal homeI’d really, really like him in an agility home. He’s got the brain, the bounce, the drive, and the energy for it — and he’d absolutely thrive with a job, structure, and someone who enjoys channelling that spark into something positive.️ What he truly needsBear 100% needs someone who understands that he needs a lot of support now to ensure he can become the dog he’s capable of being — a dog who can live a happy, healthy, fulfilled life. Are you right for Ben?Introducing our golden oldie boy, Ben! He is a 16-year-old crossbreed that is as sweet as pie. Despite his age he is full of life and has a lot of love to give. He enjoys coming up for snuggles on the couch, playing with his toys and exploring his surroundings. He is currently having a lovely time in foster and being a great house guest, he walks very politely when out-and-about and loves to meet new people. He has been spending his time enjoying well earned naps, treats and affection. He also likes to look out the front window and watch the world go by. His foster carers have reported as "fun, affectionate, and just so happy!". Ben would be able to live in a home with upper primary aged children and would like to be the only pet in the home. After breakfast, we have a walk through the housing estate towards the park. He loves getting out and about for his walks and walks very well on lead! Once home, he has a garden patrol again, then will nap until midday. Once he's woken up, we have another walk again in afternoon. Ben likes being in the front garden and watches for passers-by and gets their attention. We then like to wind down for the night and snuggle till bedtime. A summary of Ben is he is always very excited to meet new people and his manners are improving when it comes to other dogs.

URGENT NEW FOSTER/FOREVER HOME REQUIREDBilbo is a neutered 5 year old German Spitz who needs a dog-confident, adult only, calm, committed home/foster.Bilbo is dog and cat friendly.He has however not had an easy start in life and is very leary of being handled and can be an anxious boy.Where he is currently living is quite busy, with a lot of foot traffic and noise outside the home and a fair few visitors, meaning he is on high alert all the time.His carer has paid for a behaviourist package for the next 6 months which provides a plan and support to help him, which goes with him.
