Toast

Toast is a gentle Dachshund with a laid-back nature. He is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor.Toast has shown to have a sensitive demeanour when meeting new people and prefers to take a moment to figure them out before going over to say hello, but will then happily make friends and enjoy some fuss.Toast can show a mix of behaviours when he sees other dogs, he often gets excited and whines because he’d like to say hello, but when he’s encouraged to move away he can become frustrated and may bark or chew at his lead. This is his way of expressing that he finds these situations a bit overwhelming. Because of this, Toast would feel most comfortable as the only dog in the home at this point in his life. He has a great appetite and really enjoys his meals. He’s having fun using simple slow feeders and food-based toys.
