Meet our Poodle boy Toby! Toby arrived at Battersea from another rescue and with 7 other dogs and has likely not had the best start in life. He is a very worried lad who is slowly learning that the world is not such a scary place, but he is stressed when outside and struggles to walk on lead, showing behaviours similar to a puppy farm dog who has had limited exposure to the wider world. Therefore he requires his new family to be prepared for a long settling in period with owners taking everything at his pace and supporting him with a gentle approach. Toby is looking for a quiet location where he can become familiar with his surroundings with ease and not feel too overwhelmed by things around him. Being a sensitive boy he will need gradual exposure to new experiences and a steady approach to this.
