Tom

Tom is a lovely Greyhound who came to us due to him being retired from racing, due to his age. He’s a friendly chap, and pretty laid back! He enjoys snoozing in his bed, but loves to come to the front of his kennel to say hello to passers by! He would be a lovely companion, he’s very gentle. Tom enjoys his walks, and can get a little ‘giddy’ when it’s time to go out… he’s just excited, and we are certain that he will relax once he’s settled into a proper routine. He enjoys getting out for his walk, and particularly enjoys a run in our secure exercise paddocks – a home with a secure garden would be ideal! Tom seemed to get along okay with other dogs – he walked with the other sighthounds, but also was happy walking alongside other breeds too! He has become a little more reactive as he’s been here longer… He could possibly share his home with another dog, but this would depend on a dog meeting.
