Are you right for Tonka? Tonka is a 7-year-old French Bulldog who is looking for a quiet, experienced home where he can take things at his own pace. He will need to be the only dog in the home and would also prefer a home without cats or small furries. We don't have any history of Tonka around livestock. Tonka will need an adult-only home with minimal visitors, as he can find busy or unfamiliar environments a little worrying. Once he has built a bond with his people, he is an affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with those he knows and trusts. Tonka isn't used to being left on his own, so his new family will need to gradually build up the time he is left as he settles in. He is housetrained and travels well in the car. Tonka can pull a little on lead at times and isn't comfortable walking in busy towns, so he would be happiest with someone who can offer him quieter walks.
