Introducing to you our wonderful Watson - On arrival at the centre, Watson was a somewhat troubled boy, but has since settled well with a reassuring daily routine and a confident kennel companion. Watson is food motivated and engages well with enrichment activities like snuffle mats, busily sniffing out the tasty treats he can find. Providing him with these kinds of activities regularly is a great way to boost his confidence and develop a trusting relationship with him. Watson really appreciates having a safe space to call his own - Whilst he's gradually learning that affection from people is something that he can feel relaxed about, it will take some time for him to feel 100% safe and comfortable in any new environment. He has shown that he can settle well in a cosy crate with an open door for snoozes whilst here with us at the centre, and would likely appreciate this kind of set-up in his new home.
