Welly

10-12-25 Welly is a gentle little Cocker Spaniel who has joined us from a breeder. She was initially unsure about approaching us in the kennel, but she has always been easy to scoop up and handle, accepting this with quiet patience. Though a little coy, she has the softest, most endearing nature.Welly continues to get along beautifully with other dogs, but she has grown in confidence and no longer relies on canine company for reassurance. She can be happily homed as an only dog, provided her adopters offer her the same calm, kind guidance she has thrived on with us. If she is to be homed with another dog, she can be a bit grumbly with other dogs at meal time so her adopters will have to be able to manage this and she will need to be fed separate.She has made lovely progress since arriving and is now walking nicely on a lead. As she has never lived in a home before, she will still need ongoing support with house training and learning the rhythms of day-to-day family life. With time and ...
