03-02-26 Whim is a gorgeous little boy who has come to us from a breeder and is understandably unsure of the world around him. It is truly heartbreaking to see how frightened he is, as he will shy away from human contact and retreat when approached. Whim needs gentle handling, patience, and calm, slow movements to help him feel safe.
With encouragement, especially tasty treats and the presence of other confident canine friends. Whim may cautiously approach, though always very hesitantly. He gains reassurance from other dogs and will need a kind, confident resident dog in his new home to help guide him, boost his confidence, and show him that people and home life can be safe and rewarding.
Whim has never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to be patient and understanding as he learns the basics, including house training and walking on a lead.
