Wicker is a beautiful, quirky little lady who has come to us from a breeder in search of her forever home. When she first arrived, the world outside the breeder’s environment was understandably overwhelming, and she was a very nervous little soul. Sensitive and cautious, Wicker needed calm, patient, and gentle handling to help her begin to trust humans and her new surroundings.Since arriving, Wicker has made wonderful progress. She now has new kennel buddies who encourage her to be brave and explore her world. She’s learning to walk on a harness and, while it can still feel a little daunting at first, with patience she blossoms and enjoys her walks immensely. She even let someone pick her up recently, a huge step for this little lady!Wicker is still wary in some situations, particularly around her front legs, and she likes to take her time.
