Meet our Gentle Giant - Xena!Xena is a lovely girl with sweet manners, she was a little worried when she first arrived, but once she had time to settle she showed us just how adorable and affectionate she really is. She walks beautifully on the lead, is responsive to her handler, and enjoys calm companionship with her people throughout her time here with us. Xena can be a little unsure of new faces at first, but she does warm up and makes friends eventually - especially if food is involved! While she is polite around other dogs, she remains mostly independent and is happiest doing her own thing so would prefer to be the only dog in the home with regular walks to meet regular dog friends instead.
