Yaffle

Yaffle is a gentle, sensitive boy who came to us from a breeder, frightened and shut down from the world. When he first arrived, he looked utterly defeated, as though he had never known kind hands or gentle words. Since arriving with us, he has made so much progress and it has been truly beautiful to witness. Having a routine has helped him so much and he now feels safe and settled in his kennel and play yard and his confidence continues to grow. He gets very excited to see his kennel mummy each morning and now adores having fuss and attention from her and loves to jump up onto the bench to sit beside her, something he does every single time she sits down. It’s their special little routine and shows just how far he has come.He was very briefly adopted, but sadly was returned to us as the resident dog struggled to accept him and found him too enthusiastic and boisterous in his play. He did also try to hump the resident dog on occasion, so his adopters will need to work on this with him....
