Zinc

Zinc is a truly sweet and gentle older lady who came to us from a breeder and has since settled into foster-home life beautifully. Despite having never lived in a home before, Zinc has taken to it like a duck to water and has been clean both day and night with regular trips into the garden.According to her foster mummy, though Zinc is visually impaired, she is very aware of what’s going on around her and confidently finds her way about, especially when food is involved, as she has a very good appetite! Her eyes will be reassessed again in January to determine whether any further treatment may be appropriate. Zinc remains anaemic at present, so no surgical intervention can be considered until her condition improves. Any future treatment would not be covered by insurance, and adopters will need to be mindful of this.Zinc is still a little stiff in her back legs, with some age-related weakness and a slightly altered gait, but this doesn’t stop her from pottering about, exploring her surro...
