Eddie is looking for preferably a large rural home and owners experienced with Anatolian Shepherds or similar. For more information call us on 01494 482695Eddie was handed in to SDR back in 2022 after the owner’s realised Eddie wasn't suited to city life, living in the outskirts of London. Eddie being a livestock guardian breed, a working dog that needs a specific environment and very experienced owners or it will not work out. He went out on home-trial to live on a farm which very much suited him; however, during the trial there were a few teething issues, the main one being that although they had the ideal environment, he didn't suit their lifestyle due to how territorial he could be on their property towards strangers. The adoption fee for Eddie is £25050 MILE RE-HOMING RADIUS APPLIES

Enzo, a 1 year old male Anatolian Shepherd Dog available for adoption from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in Greater London

BreedAnatolian Shepherd Dog

Meet Enzo our large, lovable Anatolian Shepherd cross who has an even bigger personality. He has a way of filling a room - not just with his size, but with his charm and heart. If you’re looking for a companion who brings joy and a touch of mischief, Enzo might be who you are looking for.Due to his young and lively character, Enzo is still learning manners. He can jump up and mouth handlers when he is excited. Whilst Enzo has been doing very well with training, he is looking for new owners who have managed large dogs and high energy behaviours previously. His favourite past time is having zoomies in our secure paddocks, having a dip in a paddling pool and squeaking toys.Enzo came into our care as a stray, so he will need all of his basic training going into a new home. He has picked up a ‘sit’ and likes to show off ‘paw’, he is a quick learner and loves his food. The Anatolian Shepherd is a guardian breed, he has been very social with everyone here at Old Windsor but it will be essential that Enzo has his own private secure garden where he can relax spending time off lead in and know that it’s his own space. Enzo is looking to the only pet in the household; he is social with other dogs but can forget his size and his manners. Working on his social skills and making friends out of the home will be important but in the home, he would like to be the centre of attention.Enzo will be so much fun in a home, with plenty of character and his larger-than-life enthusiasm for everything. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Enzo, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest. We ask every customer to first complete our online rehoming application form, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here; https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogsPlease be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
