The Gascon Saintongeois is a distinguished French pack hound developed in the Saintonge and Gascony regions. There are larger and smaller varieties, but all share a short white coat with black markings, long ears, and an exceptional nose. They are gentle companions at home and tireless workers in the field, and they occasionally appear in UK rescue.
