Zuul has been saved from being put to sleep and is currently staying with a trainer who is kindly caring for and working with him until a forever home comes along, we are working with her to help find him the right home. His carer has this to say about Zuul: ‘Zuul is a fun loving Visla X Staffie, he is high energy with a sheer desire for working in any dog sport and would thrive in that environment, from flyball to canicross, even make a fabulous trials dog, but is also content being taught fun tricks, he just wants to learn! He is eager to please and is a loving dog. He thrives in structure (this doesn’t need to be strict daily routine, the times of day he trains differ daily so he has zero expectations!) although he’s nice and drivey he also has the ability to switch drives from high to calm and back again. Zuul does display small amounts of resource guarding around high value items such as raw bones/pigs ears, but these are NOT an essential part of his life that he would miss in any way shape or form, or give to him in a crate. Zuul is good with other dogs, better with females than intact males. Zuul is polite greeting new people and is mostly neutral with them. Zuul does have prey drive for sure, but this can be overcome working with the right trainer. He learns quickly and is eager to please. As much as he is a loving dog he isn’t a dog who would sleep all day on a sofa, nor would a walk round the block suffice, he needs the mental stimulation of a job, over excess free running time. He is a great companion for someone who enjoys training their dog and building solid relationship through play and work.’ Adult only home purely due to his size and resource guarding potential. If you love training and dog sports, Zuul could be the dog for you! Read more & enquire Temperament: Lively, friendly. Weight: 29KG.
