Meet Alex! Dogs are incredibly resilient. No matter what has happened to them, they somehow find the strength to forgive, to trust again, and to love with their whole hearts. In 2021, Alex was rescued by the wonderful volunteers we work with in Macedonia after spending months with a collar embedded deep into his neck, leaving a horrific open wound. Despite repeated attempts to help him, fear kept him out of reach until, one day, he realised people had come to save him. From that moment, Alex showed everyone the dog he truly is… one of the sweetest, friendliest and most affectionate boys you could ever meet! He made a full recovery, and today he’s a happy, bouncy, goofy husky who loves other dogs, loves to play, and adores attention. Sadly, what Alex hasn’t found is a family. For the past five years, shelter life has been all he’s known. He’s safe, but he deserves so much more than waiting behind kennel doors! He deserves adventures, to feel the wind in his floof! And a family to love him every single day. Now at 7 years old, Alex is more than ready to travel to the UK for the life he’s waited so patiently for. Alex can live with other dogs and dog-savvy children.

Aireworth Dogs In Need

Bailey is such a stunner- a friendly and playful if rather boisterous ladHe is only 18 months old and has has spent a lot of his short life outside with little input or exercise. He is looking for a home where he can receive some exercise and training to make his life complete. We are told he is fine with other dogs, however as far as we know, he has had limited interaction with others previously . We don’t know how he is with cats He has had little or no training so needs someone with the time and patience to help him with this. He is very friendly and keen to learn however and has proven to be good with lead walking whilst in the kennels Travels very well in the car.This lad was originally imported from Eastern Europe. He is currently in kennels and is described by them as a friendly boy with nothing wrong with him…could you give this boy the chance he so deserves??

Blue is a Siberian Husky. Born approx January 2022. Blue is a very handsome boy with the most stunning blue eyes.He is a very friendly boy and loves people. He doesn’t seem to have had much training but he is a very fast learner. We are working with him on his manners and teaching him not to jump up. He loves treats so training is relatively easy but he is a typical Husky and sometimes he will just do his own thing!Blue has lots of energy and loves to be outside to run around and play. He will bring his ball or toy back to you.He walks ok on his lead but will benefit from a harness. He is a strong boy so will need someone who can handle him. Buster is a friendly, affectionate dog who enjoys being around people and quickly wins everyone over with his relaxed nature. He loves a gentle fuss and is just as content quietly relaxing by your side as he is entertaining himself with his favourite toys, especially squeaky rubber balls and soft toys. He travels well in the car, settles nicely in the home, and already knows “sit.” On walks, he can be strong on the lead to begin with but soon settles, taking an interest in the world around him without becoming overly excitable. He would suit owners who are confident handling a larger dog and can continue supporting him with his lead manners.Buster could live as the only dog, which may suit him best, or with a calm, dog-social companion, and he is also happy to have visiting dogs. She loves getting out and about and would thrive with adopters who enjoy long walks and outdoor adventures. A private garden would be beneficial, giving her space to relax and enjoy time with her family. Cali could live with sensible secondary-school-aged children who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. Homes with dog-savvy primary-school-aged children may also be considered. Due to her strong prey drive, Cali cannot live with cats or other small animals. Potential homes with another dog, or neighbouring dogs, may be considered following successful introductions and guidance from the centre. Although Cali settles well when left, any leaving hours should be kept to a minimum initially and gradually built up as she settles into her new home. She is looking for adopters who can continue her positive, reward-based training and help her be the best version of herself.Is Cali right for you?Cali is an eight-year-old Husky with a wonderfully friendly, affectionate, and relaxed personality. She loves spending time with people and will happily seek out fuss and attention from those around her. Like many Huskies, she comes with plenty of character and even enjoys showing off her famous husky singing voice from time to time! While soft toys don't tend to last very long around Cali, she more than makes up for it with her playful nature and love of spending time with her people. He will need a family who are used to his breed, He is not suitable for a fmaily who have never had a dog before.Casper loves to be outside and will play ball when it suits him. He does have a lot of energy and likes to be outside to run around.Casper is a very strong boy when on his lead and he will need ongoing training. Cleo was sadly returned to us due to her owners no longer having the time to care for her. She is a lovely girl who enjoys a fuss though it must be on her terms. She is your typical husky who loves to be outside no matter what weather.

Cooper is a sweet boy who came to the centre via an an inspector after his previous owner could no longer meet his needs. He is a shy boy when meeting new people so will need a nice patient adopter who will bring out the best in him. Once he has settled and built a bond with you he is sweetest, most loving and playful boy you could want. Cooper had a tough start to life and missed out on most of his early learning and socialising which is why he lacks confidence in the big wide world.Cooper has built a bond with the staff and is coming out of his shell and learning to love life, he has been getting used to things at a slow pace as to not overwhelm him. He loves his walks and being out and about, he loves his zoomies when off lead in our secure compound. Cooper is a very loyal dog and looks to his handlers to keep him safe when he is in unfamiliar surroundings. Cooper is a fun and playful boy who will make the most wonderful addition to the family.Cooper will need an adult only pet free home, although he is sociable with most dogs out on a walk, he will be better in a home where he is the only pet.
