Alaska is a beautiful husky but who came to us quite some time ago from the stray kennels Sadly on assessment, Alaska seemed in discomfort with his back left leg On further vet exam, it was discovered that Alaska had a previous injury to his hip which had not healed correctly, causing pain and havoc all down his leg It was a tough choice on what to do, but the priority was to rid Alaska of pain. Alaska underwent an operation on his hip this year, and has had subsequent physio and hydrotherapy since. He has made a wonderful recovery and the vet has signed him off to be adopted and is very happy with him! Alaska is a beautiful, affectionate and sweet boy, who we have got to know really well over the last few months. He is lovely to walk, calm at home, can be left for short periods, and has endless love to give! He is such an amazing boy, and we can’t wait to give a family the wonderful opportunity to add him to their home There is a possibility that Alaska may need a second operation to his kneecap. However the vet is hopeful that he won’t. This will be covered by the rescue should be need this done in the future (must be with our vet) and this can be discussed further. It will be important that a forever home keeps up with Alaska regular exercise to maintain the muscle he has in his leg, we have worked hard to get it to this point! Atlas, a 1 year old male Siberian Husky available for adoption from Pads Dog Rescue in Scotland

Atlas

Scotland

BreedSiberian Husky

Atlas arrived with us through no fault of his own, he’s has missed out on some training and socialisation in his first year. With the help of his breeder we’ve had him fostered but sadly he struggled to live with other pets and children. He was fostered with another dog but he started bullying them after a while, he was ok with the cats initially and then began hunting them.Atlas is quite strong on a lead but does calm down after a while. As he’s not reliable around other dogs, and a Husky, we would be prefer he had his own private garden for off-lead exercise.Atlas will need an experienced home, with no young children.

Bailey, a 10 years old male Siberian Husky x German Shepherd available for adoption from Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Somerset

Age10 years
BreedSiberian Husky x German Shepherd

He lost his owner… and now he’s lost his home too. Bailey didn’t do anything wrong. The only thing that changed was that the person he loved sadly passed away. Now this older boy is in rescue, confused and waiting for someone who isn’t coming back. Bailey is a lovely, gentle soul who still has so much love left to give. He’s friendly with other medium/large dogs off lead but can be reactive to smaller dogs on lead/off lead, Bailey is house trained, walks beautifully on a loose lead, loves water, loves being groomed, travels well, and is used to being left for a few hours. He’s also been socialised with children aged 10+. He will chase cats and doesn’t have recall off lead, but what Bailey truly needs right now is simple — a safe home, a soft bed, and someone to love him again. He’s already lost everything once. Please don’t let him spend the rest of his days waiting in a kennel. Can you give Bailey the loving home he deserves for his golden years? Please apply online if you can help. Bailey is such a stunner- a friendly and playful if rather boisterous ladHe is only 18 months old and has has spent a lot of his short life outside with little input or exercise. He is looking for a home where he can receive some exercise and training to make his life complete. We are told he is fine with other dogs, however as far as we know, he has had limited interaction with others previously . We don’t know how he is with cats He has had little or no training so needs someone with the time and patience to help him with this. He is very friendly and keen to learn however and has proven to be good with lead walking whilst in the kennels Travels very well in the car. This lad was originally imported from Eastern Europe. He is currently in kennels and is described by them as a friendly boy with nothing wrong with him…could you give this boy the chance he so deserves??

Blue is a Siberian Husky. Born approx January 2022. Blue is a very handsome boy with the most stunning blue eyes.He is a very friendly boy and loves people. He doesn’t seem to have had much training but he is a very fast learner. We are working with him on his manners and teaching him not to jump up. He loves treats so training is relatively easy but he is a typical Husky and sometimes he will just do his own thing!Blue has lots of energy and loves to be outside to run around and play. He will bring his ball or toy back to you.He walks ok on his lead but will benefit from a harness. He is a strong boy so will need someone who can handle him. Cali, a 4 years old female Siberian Husky available for adoption from Ashbourne Animal Welfare in Derbyshire

Cali is a young Husky crossbreed who originally came to us through no fault of her own… she came to us with her Sister, Who has since been rehomed. Sadly their owner realised that they had bitten off more than they could chew by taking on the Sisters as puppies, as well as already having 2 existing dogs and 3 cats in the home. Sadly Cali wasn’t receiving the time and attention that she needed and was spending a lot of the time in the kitchen – now that Cali had matured, she had taken a bit of a dislike to one of the smaller dogs and the cats.Cali is generally a friendly, sociable girl but can be a little wary of some new people initially… however once she knows you, she is your best friend! She’s always super excited to greet the staff and volunteers when they arrive! She’s a real cuddler! She’s definitely a favourite with some of the volunteers and even benefits from occasional outings to go and explore – where she has been impeccably behaved!Since she has been with us, we have worked on her training and she will now walk nicely on a lead wearing her head collar. She does seem quite clever, and keen to please…so continued training would be beneficial. She will need somebody with a lot of time to dedicate to her. Her time alone will need to be built up, as she’s always had company. She’s affectionate, and ‘smiles’ at people to say hello! We did rehome Cali but sadly she was returned. Cali has been known to display jealous and/or possessive tendencies around ‘her people’ which is why we think she would be suited to somebody who lives alone and can work with her one on one. We also believe that Cali would need to be the only pet in the home.

Meet this handsome boy Cassian!Cassian is still a young boy who can be a little mouthy at times. He would benefit from some basic training and socialisation in his new home. He walks quite nicely on a lead, but can get a little excited at times. He is a very friendly boy who enjoys playing with the volunteers, he likes to greet you with a toy or chew. He enjoys a good cuddle and will roll over for belly rubs when he feels comfortable.Cassian has interacted well with dogs in our care, so could potentially be rehomed with another dog – subject to a successful meet.Due to Cassian being a little mouthy we think it is best for him to be rehomed with children 16 years and older. Please don’t apply for a dog if you are going on holiday within the next 3 months.
