Boyo is a beautiful red and white 2 years old Boxer, who is already neutered. He's currently in a foster home where he's being assessed so that we can understand the type of home he needs. He's a complex boy who needs to learn boundaries, and he'll need someone with patience because he's taken a while to settle in his foster home, but once he trusts you we think he'll make a lovely companion. He can be good with other dogs when out, but he will need a pet free home as he's not used to living with another dog. He will pull on the lead, but when there's no distractions he can walk nicely. He will need someone who will give him time to settle and build up the time being left aloneBoyo will definitely need time to decompress and settle into a new home, so a quiet, patient and calm household would be best.If you are interested in adopting Boyo, please call Julie 01508 218471 or email [email protected].Boyo is currently in foster in BedfordshireAdoption donation £400

Buddy needs an experienced home that will work with him to make him feel secure. You will need to be prepared to work at his training to improve his walking and social skills, and to build up his confidence. If you would like to know more about Buddy or feel you could offer him a home, please contact Julie Semmence on 01508 218471 or email [email protected]Currently Buddy is in kennels near Kettering, North Northants where you would need to go to meet him.Buddy will need to be neutered once he's settled in his new home and HCBW will fund this. Adoption donation £400

Denzel, a 3 years old male Boxer available for adoption from Home Counties Boxer Welfare in Buckinghamshire

Home Counties Boxer Welfare

Denzel

Buckinghamshire
SexMale
Age3 years
BreedBoxer

Denzel is a lovely sweet boy. He is friendly with everyone and loves a snuggle on the sofa. He can be excitable, but with the right calm leadership he settles and can relax. He will need a home where someone is around most of the time, and can work on his separation anxiety. A calm home that is fairly quiet with not too much going on so that he can learn to relax and relinquish responsibility. He will chase cats. He can travel in the car - he is anxious to start and will then settle. He is ok on the lead, he can pull but is correctable, he will need work on his recall. He's been good with meeting other dogs in the vet reception, and he's been great with strangers, and with kids (although maybe a little cautious sometimes), and he's been good at the cafe. He can get overwhelmed with too much too soon, but if you take things slowly and respect his boundaries, he is fine.He is a very sensitive boy and will react to the situation he is in, he can be a handful at times but with a confident, patient handler and with clear, consistent guidance, and boundaries, he is quite happy to follow.

Home Counties Boxer Welfare is a boxer-specific rescue charity established in 1991, dedicated to helping Boxers in need find loving homes. Originally covering the Home Counties, the charity now operates across a wider region including Norfolk and Suffolk. Alongside rehoming, the team provides advice, support, and in some cases financial assistance to Boxer owners to help with ongoing care. Supported by a network of volunteer fosterers, home checkers, transporters, and fundraisers, the charity continues to seek suitable foster and adoptive homes, particularly those without other pets or young children.

Serbia’s Forgotten Paws was founded in 2012 to support an overwhelmed shelter in Niš, Serbia, where dogs were living in overcrowded, poorly resourced conditions with little food, shelter or veterinary care. Established by a small group determined to make change, the charity set out to improve nutrition, provide insulated housing, fund veterinary treatment and employ workers to exercise and care for the dogs properly. A key aim has also been reducing shelter numbers through increased adoptions and enriching daily life with toys and stimulation. Through focused intervention and ongoing support, Serbia’s Forgotten Paws works to transform the lives of vulnerable shelter dogs.

Stokenchurch Dog Rescue is a dedicated dog rescue and rehoming centre focused on carefully assessing each dog to ensure the best possible match with a new home. Every dog receives an initial medical check and any necessary treatment, followed by a short stay in an isolation unit where health and behaviour can be closely monitored. During this period, staff assess temperament, social skills, and suitability for different home environments, including households with children, other dogs, or cats. Dogs are cared for in modern, comfortable accommodation with access to exercise, enrichment, and individualised diets, supported by volunteers who provide daily walks and attention while each dog awaits a loving forever home.
