2 year old neutered male Spitz.Loki is a kind-hearted, energetic, and playful boy. He loves his adventures but also appreciates the quiet moments in life. He can be vocal and reactive towards other dogs which although can be a trait of the breed, his appears to stem from uncertainty and fear of their intentions. Although he can be reactive due to anxiety and can sometimes show some sass towards people when challenged, this doesn’t define him. He’s a smashing little dog with a heart of gold, who simply needs a patient home that can help him grow in confidence and build up his social skills. ‍

This boy takes his sniffing very seriously, so if you’re someone who enjoys relaxed but enriching walks where he can take his time investigating the world, Mowgli will be in his element. He’s also got a playful streak – especially when toys are involved. He’ll chase a ball with great enthusiasm… bringing it back, however, is still a work in progress! Mowgli is very intelligent and eager to please, and he’ll thrive in a home where he can continue his training and enjoy plenty of mental enrichment. As a typical collietype, Mowgli would do best in a calm, quiet home environment where he has space to settle and decompress. He does have a bit of a chase drive, particularly around moving vehicles, so he would be best suited to a less builtup area without fast or heavy traffic, where this can be safely managed and worked on through training. Mowgli has also recently shown positive and playful interactions with other dogs. As a result, a home with another suitably matched dog may be considered, pending successful introductions and compatibility assessments. While he can initially be wary of strangers, he is easily won over with patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats.Spud is a very intelligent boy who loves learning and thrives when given mental stimulation and enrichment. He enjoys engaging activities, problem-solving games, and building strong bonds with his people. He also has a wonderfully silly side and is very much the class clown of the household, always finding ways to make you laugh.Like many Spitz breeds, Spud takes pride in his fabulous coat, which will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.Spud can be reactive to a variety of stimuli, so he is looking for an experienced, understanding home that can continue helping him feel safe and supported. He would benefit from quieter walks, access to rented paddocks or secure private spaces, and a home with a garden where he can relax and decompress.Because of his needs, Spud is searching for an adult-only, pet free home where someone is around most of the day as he can currently struggle with alone time.
