Not yet, due to age Location: Romania Conner is simply precious, a sweet little boy with the biggest, most pleading puppy-dog eyes. His all-white fur rarely stays that way for long, as he loves nothing more than rolling in the grass and playing with his doggy friends. Despite everything he has been through, he has a wonderful affectionate nature. What Conner needs now is a forever home where he can feel safe, grow, and learn all there is to know about being a dog. Conner and his siblings were rescued from a kill shelter in Romania. Sadly, they contracted parvovirus and were very poorly for a long time. Heartbreakingly, Conner was the only one of his litter to survive. Since then, he has been a little lost without his siblings and seeks comfort and attention from those around him. He absolutely loves being with people and enjoys plenty of fuss. He also loves playing with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with an existing dog for companionship. Conner has been cat-tested and is completely unfazed by them. Given his young age, Conner will need a home committed to his upbringing. Continuing his training and setting clear boundaries. As he grows, he will naturally test limits, so his new family should be prepared to guide him with patience and consistency. Not yet due to age Location: Romania Little Baby Dylis, how small and sweet! She’s an adorable puppy with mostly white fur, a brindle eye patch, and the cutest black “kissy lips” marking on her mouth. She’s always happy to smile for the camera, especially if cuddles are offered as a reward. Dylis is still very young and small at the moment, but she definitely has plenty of growing to do. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania along with her littermates and is now looking for a loving forever home. Her ideal family will be ready to commit to the exciting journey of raising a puppy. Dylis loves being around people and gets on well with other dogs she meets. Given her young age, she could also live with a cat, provided she is properly socialised. Although she’s small now, as Dylis grows she will naturally begin to test boundaries and push her luck at home. She’ll need an adopter who understands this stage of development and is willing to guide her with patience and consistency as she becomes more confident. Registered Charity Number: 1170022Jessie was a deaf XL Bully pup that came to the Northumberland Dog Rescue centre just outside Alnwick at the end of April, aged just 12 weeks old. She was a typical playful puppy, that loved to get into mischief and have fun with her 2 legged and 4 legged friends, and of course, as with all puppies, there was no sign of viciousness, no matter what the breed of dog.The 1st option, was to have a perfectly healthy happy young dog put to sleep (killed), and claim the £100 compensation the government were offering rescue centres. This option wasn't even considered! The 2nd option was to find a way that we could look after Jessie as a permanent rescue at our centre, this would tie up a valuable rescue kennel space for possibly 10-15 years, but was infinitely preferable to having her put to sleep. Finally on 19 December 2023 the government announced an exemption scheme for rehoming centres, this allowed rescue centres to apply for an exemption for any XL Bully they took into their care prior to 31 October 2023.This meant that we could continue to care for, and look after Jessie for the rest of her natural life. It does mean that she will be kept in a secure kennel between play and exercise times, but this is something she's been used to virtually all of her life and she'll still be able to interact with her 4 and 2 legged friends and companions from within her own kennel.Jessie is now officially confirmed as a permanent member of the #NDRFamily after we received her exemption papers from DEFRA.This means that, although not ideal, Jessie will NOT be put to sleep because of the XL Bully Ban, but will live out her days with us as our #NDRPet4Life with her 2 and 4 legged friends at the Northumberland Dog Rescue. It also means that yes, we will incur extra costs involved with her heating, food, and vets bills, and it will mean we have 1 less kennel space for a rescue dog, but we KNOW that she's worth it, and we're reminded of that every time we see her happy smiling face when she sees and greets us.If you want to help us to help Jessie why not become one of the #JessiesHeroes by donating either £10 or £25 a month and you'll receive regular updates on her progress and life as our official #NDRPet4LifeFor just £10 a month, as a thank you, you'll receive:A 1/4ly email with updates and photos of JessieWebsite recognition as a Jessie HeroFor just £25 a month, as a thank you, you'll receive:A 1/4ly email with updates and photos of JessieWebsite recognition as a Jessie HeroA personalised Thank You CertificatePaypal - Not forgetting to click "make this a monthly donation" and include your email address so we can contact you.Alternatively if you don't have a Paypal account and want to set up a Standing Order through your bank please email promotions.ndr@gmail.com and we'll send you the details.Thank you from Jessie and all the 2 and 4 legged members of the #NDRFamily

I have more photos below, check out my video! Medium Mix Breed Age: 9 Months as of May 2026 Dog Friendly? Likes Dogs Cat Friendly? No Cats Child Friendly? Children over 8 Neutered? Yes Location: Romania Lovely Mira is such a sweet girl. She’s a beautiful, all-black dog with a unique, scruffy, wiry coat. She is looking for a home where she can settle down and enjoy all the love a family has to offer. Mira has an incredibly loving nature, making her a perfect companion. Mira was dropped off at a vet clinic and left, we don’t know anything about her past so she may have been born on the streets or may have come from a home. She has been settling in well in temporary foster care, gaining confidence and learning from the older dogs around her. She gets on very well with other dogs and has a particular soft spot for puppies, she absolutely melts around them and genuinely enjoys their company. She would be a great match for a home with an existing dog. She is an affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. She will follow her carer from room to room and eagerly lean in for cuddles and chin scratches. She thrives on human company and is a true little shadow in the home. Her gentle nature makes her a good fit for a home with sensible children over 12. However, Mira can be frightened by loud noises and may be a little shy to begin with, so slow introductions are key. As Mira is still young, she will need an owner who is committed to continuing her training and socialisation as she grows. She currently weighs around 12kg and, while she may grow a little more, We doubt she will grow to be very large, she has a slim build with graceful long legs. Mira did manage to sneak out of her foster carer’s home at one point, so her forever home will need a secure garden. We would also advise keeping her on a long lead in the garden for the first few weeks until she is fully settled. Mira is unsure of cats, she doesn’t quite know what to make of them and, if anything, seems a little frightened of them. For this reason, we would recommend a home without cats, just to be safe.
