Jack is a lovely boy in the kennels but is looking for an experienced home (preferably with Terriers). He’s not for first time dog owners. Jack is a 7 year old, Jack Russell Terrier. He is keen to please and loves charging about on the paddock. He has attended dog school and is always a very good boy. Jack is looking for a home who can set boundaries, he’s not unruly but he has benefitted from a routine in the kennels. Jack is an active boy and will need a home who is happy to properly stimulate/ exercise him. Jack could potentially live with another dog. No cats. No children.

Margot (aka Margie) is sweet-natured and cuddly at home but full of bounce and energy when out and about. She gets along well with children and dogs and walks well on the lead. She loves being part of the action but needs work on her recall.

Paddy is an adorable little Parson Russell Terrier who sadly came into our care following the death of his owner.Paddy’s favourite thing in the world is a tennis ball and he would play all day given the chance. However, he can get a little possessive over his toys. He does sometimes snap if something is taken away from him and this has resulted in a couple of nips. Although he loves the company of people, he isn’t the biggest fan of cuddles. He suffers from a skin condition, which is being managed through his diet, and this makes him a little sensitive to touch – so he’s certainly not your classic lap dog. Rather than a snuggler, he’s more of a devoted companion who’ll be right there beside you, doing life with you, but on his terms.Paddy loves his walks and generally he walks well on the lead. However, he can be reactive towards other dogs when he is out and about. He has been working with a behaviourist and he’s making brilliant progress. We will continue that support in Paddy’s new home and we are sure that with a patient and understanding owner by his side, he will go from strength to strength.We feel that Paddy would thrive in an active adult only home with no other pets where he can enjoy undivided love and attention. We are also looking for an owner who has experience of feisty terriers; someone who is looking for a companion to enjoy long country walks and playtime rather than cuddles on the sofa.Are you looking for a playful and lively little companion who just needs to find someone who will understand his terrier complexities?
