He’s looking for an active home that can keep up with him both physically and mentally, someone who’s ready for adventures, training and plenty of fun along the way. He’s a very intelligent lad who absolutely loves his food, which makes training both enjoyable and rewarding for him. Bailey thrives when he has challenges to focus on and will benefit from ongoing guidance and support from our Training Leads and Behaviourist as he settles into a new home. Bailey can struggle around other dogs and will need to be muzzled when out in public to help keep him and others safe. For this reason, he’s looking to be the only animal in the home so he can receive the one to one attention he truly needs and deserves. He’ll also need an adult only home, as he can be boisterous at times and forget just how strong he is. Despite this, Bailey absolutely loves people. He’s always happy to say hello when out and about and adores a good cuddle. With patience, understanding and the right guidance, Bailey has so much potential and will be an incredibly loyal, loving companion. If you’re experienced, active and ready to invest time into helping a clever young dog navigate the big wide world, Bailey could be your perfect match. Police have no other info.Very sweet girls. On a 7 dayer atm.”So Bambi and Bonnie came from the Police DLO in Cornwall.Both girls have super friendly temperaments and get along together so well. However we are walking them separately as well as together so Bonnie learns to be confident away from her mum.No young children as we do not know their history but these girls would fit happily in a breed experienced home with little fuss.

Saluki Black and Tan 1 Year (approx) Ref: DS015 Apply now Benedict is a loving, sensitive boy with a gentle nature. This young Saluki takes life at his own pace and enjoys quietly getting to know the world around him. Once comfortable, Benedict is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people. He enjoys cuddles, belly rubs, and stretching out on the sofa or bed with all four legs in the air. Around the home, he is calm, house trained, rarely barks, settles well, and is polite around food. Benedict loves being outdoors and his curious Saluki nature shines when exploring. He walks beautifully on the lead and would make a wonderful adventure companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about. He is also happy travelling in the car. He may need a little encouragement getting in and out, but once settled he travels beautifully and securely in the back seats. Like many sighthounds, Benedict is an independent thinker with a high prey drive. His recall is still a work in progress, and he cannot be trusted off lead in open spaces. He will need to continue using a long line or secure lead attachment while his training develops. A very secure garden is essential. Benedict is naturally curious and loves exploring, so his family will need to be mindful of open windows, doors, and unlocked gates, as he may look for opportunities to go on his own adventures. He would not suit a home where he can be left unsupervised outside. Benedict has been polite with dogs he has met and could potentially live with another wellmatched dog following successful introductions. Due to his high prey drive, he would not be suitable to live with cats or small animals. Benedict is still a young dog who will benefit from continued positive training and guidance. Blue is a 4 year old Cane Corso.No children or other pets in the home for this boy please.Sadly Blue has not had the best start in life, he also needs to gain a little more weight.Blue is looking for a large breed savvy home, that's prepared to give him the training and loving care he craves.He may have an occasional pee accident in home when left.Even though this boy has been treated harshly by humans in the past he is still a loving boy who likes his home comforts and being close to his trusted humans.

British Bulldog Grey and White 8 Years (approx) Ref: DS015 Apply now Bronson is a wonderfully affectionate, gentle boy looking for a home where he can enjoy life's simple pleasures – a comfy bed, tasty meals, leisurely walks and, most importantly, lots of love. A calm and confident dog, Bronson has settled beautifully into foster care. He is fully housetrained, sleeps soundly through the night and knows a variety of commands. He walks nicely on the lead and enjoys enrichment activities such as Kongs and puzzle toys, making him both easy to live with and rewarding to spend time with. Although he sometimes needs a little encouragement to set off on a walk, once he's out he's happy to explore, especially if there's water nearby! Around 30–40 minutes is the perfect outing before he's ready to head home for a wellearned nap and, of course, his next meal. In the garden he enjoys a game with two balls, although he's still deciding whether "fetch" is really for him! Bronson has a lovely nature. He is friendly with everyone he meets, both at home and out and about, and has been welcoming to visitors. He's calm, cuddly, playful and very food motivated, making him a pleasure to train. He also absolutely loves being groomed, has no history of resource guarding and isn't destructive, apart from the occasional hopeful investigation of the recycling if he suspects food might be hiding there! He has mixed well with other dogs and has previously lived with one, so he could potentially share his new home with another friendly canine companion. He may also be able to live with a confident, dogsavvy cat. While he hasn't met children in foster care, his foster carer feels his laidback, friendly temperament means he could happily live with a family. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a gentle soul, a great sense of humour and an easygoing outlook on life, Bronson could be the perfect addition to your family. Bruno is a 7 year old crossbreedNo children or other pets in the home please.This boy is looking for a forever home through no fault of his own.Bruno can be a little nervous at times when people raise their voices, so would like a quiet, relaxed home.Sadly he is not a fan of other dogs when out and about on his lead.He can be strong on the lead when first going out but soon relaxes and settles down to walk nicely.In the home Bruno is a loving loyal dog.All this boy needs is someone that's home most of the time so he won't be left often and willing to give him the chilled out home he needs to relax again.Please note this dog has not been assessed by LCH and due to lack of foster space remains with owner until a home is secured.

“Bruno has come on such a long way he loves his walks and a game of football or playing with the hose. Bruno can be nervous meeting new people but if your calm and have cheese he will be leaning in for a head stroke.Bruno does have food aggression over his bowls and treats but only when food is in the bowl but when the bowl is empty his fine for you to pick it up. Bruno would probably benefit in a home with a older female dog.”What can I say about this young man. Born 15.8.18, Bruno is a full GSD we are told! He is microchipped and vaccinated and he is now neutered.The kennels were called asking if they would take him in as he was biting. Of course we said yes, and he arrived at the kennels quite stressed and snappy. Given a chance to settle, he started to trust the staff at the kennels and slowly learnt to trust a wider circle. Basically this poor young man had nervous aggression.Bruno has come on leaps and bounds however and is a lot more confident within himself but still takes time to adjust to new people. No young children for obvious reasons, and working on socialising him slowly with other dogs.This lad will need an experienced home that has dealt with this issue before, and with calmness and normality, he should flourish to be the lovely young man that is hiding inside.Bruno was adopted but sadly has come back to us after 18 months as he feels he is just too much due to his protective nature. His adopter has done a lot of work with Bruno and this is what he says about him:“Guards food a little, especially high value treats. Is much better once he knows and trusts you, but still guards a bit.Great with routine. Very active. Loves to play with balls over most toys. Loves a game of tug of war, but gets a bit over excited sometimes.Brilliant recall now, great off the lead (in quiet places of course). Loves rivers etc. Has a huge thing for big branches – both loose and attached to trees still.Chases squirrels, rabbits etc. Very good around deer now and will not chase them if told no.Started to enjoy some agility – especially climbing. Can get a bit frustrated when learning to climb things etc – watch out as he can mouth and nip a little in frustration sometimes.Generally very responsive to a No command in all situations.I’ve had a dog walker 2 days a week for a year now. He’s great with her letting herself in, and walks very well with her.Sits, lays, paw, kiss for treats (kisses can be a bit teethy sometimes – be warned!)Very well behaved indoors – doesn’t chew anything, no toilet issues (he’s like a camel tbh)Bruno is all about his personal space, doesn’t really snuggle. Loves to lay on the bed but bolts if you get on it. Be wary about him laying with his back to you – if you then fuss him he can get a bit snarley. If he is tired or grumpy he is also quite quick to get snarley.”Things like towel drying after a walk need to be done carefully and with rewards – watch out around his feet – he really doesn’t like that (anything to do with his feet is typically not welcomed).Muzzle him for flea, ear drops etc – that will be a battle.Overall a great, active dog who likes his space.”Do you have the experience for Bruno please who would obviously do well with a ‘job’ to keep him busy.

Well what can I say about this poor young lad!Bruno was born May 2021. He is microchipped but that’s it.We were asked by the RSPCA if we could take him on after he had been signed over by his owners who we were told were crack heads!Bruno had never been outside since a puppy so is terrified of everything and everyone. Now safely in our kennels in Cornwall, it is going to be a long and slow road for this poor lad to learn to trust and learn how to be a normal dog enjoying life but we are seeing improvements all the time.Bruno is now fully vaccinated and neutered and is accepting of so many more people and has really started to find his confidence.A very special home needed please.
