A New Leash for Life Rescue is a volunteer-led organisation founded by Marcene Lines, who has spent over nine years rescuing dogs and has helped rehome around 7,000. Working with trusted rescuers abroad, the charity identifies dogs in need, ensures they receive vaccinations and travel documentation, and brings them safely to the UK for foster care and adoption. A dedicated team of volunteers and foster families supports rehabilitation, assessment and careful matching to suitable homes. Funded entirely through donations, sponsorship and fundraising, the rescue is driven by the belief that every dog deserves a warm and loving home, regardless of their past.

Second Chance Animal Rescue is a small, volunteer-led rescue charity based in Southampton that has been helping animals in need for over 40 years. The charity supports dogs, cats, small animals, and some wildlife, providing care, rehabilitation, and rehoming wherever possible. Animals taken into care receive essential veterinary treatment, including vaccination, microchipping, and treatment for illness or injury, while orphaned wildlife is hand-raised and released back into the wild when ready. Supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, Second Chance Animal Rescue continues to work tirelessly to give vulnerable animals the opportunity to find safe, loving new homes.

Underdog International was founded in 2019 by Nadine Kayser following her work co-founding the Wild at Heart Foundation in 2015. After helping drive large-scale adoption, neutering, and education programmes worldwide, Nadine shifted her focus toward fostering compassion through child-led engagement with animals. Underdog International was created on the principle of “children helping dogs, dogs helping children,” combining animal welfare with youth development and education. The charity aims to create lasting change by nurturing empathy, responsibility, and kindness in the next generation while improving the lives of vulnerable dogs.
