Griffon Astur-Cantabro
A rustic Spanish griffon from Asturias and Cantabria, often seen in UK rescue.
The Griffon Astur-Cantabro is a rough-coated scent hound from northern Spain, used for hunting in the mountains of Asturias and Cantabria. Lean, hardy, and highly scented, these dogs are frequently rehomed to the UK by Spanish rescue groups. They form strong bonds with their people and need understanding owners who can manage a working hound in a home environment.
