Please read my profile below to find out more.Meet marvellous Mollie, and dashing Dexter, a delightful duo looking for a new home to call their own,Once you have made friends with this duo, you are a friend for life. Mollie is happy to welcome in anyone who has a treat on offer, whilst Dexter needs a little more support with relationship building, but it certainly doesn’t take long. The team can provide further advice on this. They would enjoy a home with minimal visitors, with access to quiet walking routes where they won’t have to bump into too many people out and about with a low dog population. They could live with older children (14+) who can appreciate their need to settle in to their new home. They would be looking for a multi carer household as they don't enjoy to share one lap! This fabulous pair will make brilliant canine companions for those willing to put the work in to help them be the best versions of themselves. If Mollie and Dexter sound like the duo for you, please apply today.

Gizmo 3, a 9 months old male Papillon available for adoption from North Clwyd Animal Rescue in Wales

SexMale
Age9 months
BreedPapillon

Gizmo 3's Notes:Gizmo is a little cutie who has been signed over to us for rehoming due to allergies in the home.He is a sweet boy who has clearly lacked some vital socialisation and training so is looking for owners who have time to dedicate to him – especially since he is at a vital stage in his development. Gizmo loves his walks and being out and about, he sometimes needs some gentle encouragement as he tends to sit and not want to move if he is feeling unsure of anything around him but he is growing in confidence daily. He is said to be fully house trained in the home but doesn’t travel well in the car and can get quite car sick.We were advised by his previous owners that he doesn’t like other dogs – we have been socialising him since his arrival and he is generally fine around them but will benefit from ongoing work + socialisation. At the moment we feel he will be best as the only dog in the home. He has been around a cat in his previous home so could potentially live with a confident cat providing steady introductions can be done between them. He can be rehomed with sensible children aged 8+.We know he is cute but please only apply if you have read his full profile and match his rehoming critera – as always we will be selecting the most suitable home for him

Oreo, a Unknown old male Papillon available for adoption from Almost Home NI in Northern Ireland

BreedPapillon

Meet Oreo – Your Little Shadow with a Big Heart Oreo is a charming black-and-white fluffball who appears to be a Papillon cross, with delicate features and a soft coat to match his gentle nature. This special little boy hasn’t had the easiest start in life, and as a result, he’s still learning that the world—and the people in it—can be kind. Oreo may take a little time to trust, but patience with him is richly rewarded. Once you’re in his circle, he transforms into the sweetest, most affectionate companion. He absolutely adores cuddles and will happily curl up on your lap, soaking up all the love he’s been missing. He is fully crate trained and takes comfort in having his own safe space. Oreo is very clean and tidy in the home, but he can be a little protective of his crate area. Because of this, he’ll need an understanding adopter who is willing to respect his boundaries and continue gently working with him at his own pace. Oreo would thrive in a calm, quiet household where he can relax, build confidence, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life—like cozy snuggles and tasty treats. He’s not looking for a busy or high-energy environment; instead, he’s searching for someone kind-hearted who will give him the time, patience, and love he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who will blossom with care and reward you with endless affection, Oreo might just be your perfect match.

Papi, a 7 years old male Papillon X Yorkshire Terrier available for adoption from Dogs Friends in Somerset

Dogs Friends

Papi

Somerset
SexMale
Age7 years
BreedPapillon X Yorkshire Terrier

Background –Papi came to Dogs Friends via a Welsh pound after his owner was no longer able to care for him. Although Papi has lived in a pet home, he doesn’t seem to have seen much of the world.Character –Papi is a 6kg squeaky toy enthusiast with the most impressive ears we’ve seen on a small dog! He is happy to chill out on the sofa at home after a morning of playing with his toys or roaming the garden, and checking for intruders. Papi is friendly and affectionate without being clingy and enjoys a gentle brush from time to time.Type of home –Papi would like a home where someone is home most of the time, although he will happily settle on the sofa if you are out for an hour or so. Papi is quite active, but he is currently anxious outside of the home. This leads to him being reactive to other dogs, so he will need to live somewhere with access to quiet walks and limited contact with other dogs – his foster carer takes him to a secure field, which Papi loves! Papi’s new caretaker will need to be willing to put in the work to help him become more comfortable around other dogs and generally less anxious in unfamiliar situations.Papi has recently had cherry eye surgery, which he’s recovered well from.Papi is currently located in Weston-super-Mare.Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
